The Visitor Information Centre will be reopening May 2012!
The High River Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is your source for travel and tourism information and assistance. Stop by for vacation and "staycation" planning, information on upcoming local events, and access to hundreds of brochures and guidebooks, for Alberta and beyond.
Official Travel Alberta Road Maps are available for only $2.00, and all other materials are provided free of charge, including High River postcards, and local magazines and publications.
Located at Sheppard Family Park at the intersection of 12th Avenue and 5th Street SE.
Free "Experience High River" Maps and other self-serve materials are also available at the following locations:
- Town of High River Office - 309-B Macleod Trail SW
- Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex - 228 - 12 Avenue SE
- Business & Tourism Development - #102, 120 - 4 Avenue SW (located next to Evelyn's Memory Lane Cafe).
