The water and wastewater systems in High River consist of 67.4 kms of water mains, 60.6 kms of wastewater mains, and 29.9 kms of storm water drains. In addition we supply water to the MD of Foothills Highway 2A corridor and Mazeppa gas plant, and treat wastewater for the MD of Foothills Highway 2A corridor.
A team of specialized technicians and equipment operators monitor, maintain, and if necessary, repair and replace faulty pipe and system components to ensure the highest quality of drinking water and wastewater management for High River residents.

Drinking water is tested and monitored in accordance with the provincial requirements, accepted industry standards to ensure that the water consistently meets all Health Canada and Alberta provincial regulations.
