Engineering & Operations

The Town’s Engineering & Environmental Services Department includes the Divisions of Engineering, Operations and Environmental Services.  Working together these three Divisions are charged with providing proficient, efficient and cost-effective services to our residents in compliance with all applicable laws and municipal regulations.

The Engineering Department provides technical support to residents, contractors, consultants, and other Town departments, boards and agencies regarding infrastructure development and installation.  Working with our consultants the Engineering Department also coordinates project bids and contract awards in our efforts to best complete the Town’s many infrastructure projects.

The Operations Department is the team who provides the services residents use on a daily basis.  They keep the roads we drive on clear, collect our garbage, oversee our recycling depot, upkeep our water and wastewater infrastructure, as well as maintain the Town’s fleet and buildings.

Environmental Services keeps abreast of the latest environmental news and technological information for our resident, business and corporate initiatives.
