There are three main types of business licenses available in the Town of High River:
Home Occupation
In-Town (Store Front)
Out of Town

Home Occupation

This is a category of business that Land Use Bylaw 3960/99 permits to operate from a residence within the Town of High River, subject to certain standard requirements. Home Occupation businesses  are intended to be small and non-intrusive, owing to their residential locations, and may cover a wide range of activities, from a desk and telephone "office" where record keeping is undertaken for a contractor, to a personal service such as a hairdresser.

All home occupations must first receive approval via Development Permit application process before a business license can be issued. Below are the forms required to apply for a Home Occupation business.
