Mayor's Message

High River is known for a strong sense of community and spirit. That spirit has been inspired by active and dedicated citizens throughout the last century. I am excited about encouraging that tradition of involvement as we plan for the future. Our town is one of the best places to live (perhaps the best) in western Canada.

Those of us, who were fortunate enough to move to High River by choice, quickly became aware of the warmth and hospitable nature of the community. The full spectrum of services makes for a great place to raise a family, do business, and enjoy life.

The next few years will be pivotal for our town, as we deal with the anticipated growth. We have some challenges and opportunities ahead with respect to transportation and business development. With a clear sense of vision and an attitude focused on solution, and teamwork we can meet those challenges with success.
