The Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex is located on 12th Ave SE (between 2nd & 5th Streets).
All recreation, family and community programs are coordinated from here with classes taking place in various locations.
The facility includes an indoor pool with diving boards, a slide and ropes, hot-tub, sauna, change rooms with showers, two arenas and full concession. It is also home of the Highwood Curling Club. There are two large ball diamonds adjacent to the complex, a group camp area behind (which includes outdoor firepits and cooking facilities), access to an off leash dog area and to the town's recycling depot.
The complex is alive with activity throughout the year - from hockey, skating, shinny and curling in the winter, to seasonal and annual events like the Annual Trade Fair and Farmer's Market throughout the summer.
